Rebel Rags opened in October 2005 with a single mission — be the Ole Miss store in Oxford. Twenty years and 410+ vendors later, we're still here, still on Jackson Ave W, still answering the phone ourselves.

From a marketing chat
to Oxford's deepest rack.

The name Rebel Rags came out of a brainstorm referencing the Pittsburgh Steelers' "Terrible Towel" — the small piece of fabric that became one of the most powerful fan symbols in American sports. The lesson was simple: a great fan store doesn't just sell merchandise, it sells identity.

Two decades on Jackson Ave W later, the philosophy has held. We carry merchandise from 410+ separate vendors — Under Armour, Nike, Columbia, Champion, Antigua, League Collegiate Wear, Alternative Apparel, Russell Athletic, Wee Ones, Worthy Promotional Products, Enmon Accessories, and hundreds more. If it has the Ole Miss script or the Powe Mike on it, we probably stock it.

We're open seven days a week. We restock fast for postseason runs, stay deep on game-day Saturdays, and we still recognize the regulars when they walk in.

  3. 2020

    Neighborhood Favorite — first year

    Recognized by the Oxford community as a local favorite for the first time.

    Back-to-back recognition. The Oxford community keeps showing up.
